About Us
This brand was built on pure determination, relentless passion, and a deep, unshakable desire to create something beautiful.
It all began back in 2019. I had a quiet but powerful moment where the idea of building a fashion brand came to me so clearly—it felt like it landed on my soul. I can still remember exactly where I was… physically, mentally, emotionally. It’s the kind of moment you never forget—like it’s permanently etched in your memory.
Fast forward to 2020: I was living with a roommate who had a sewing machine. One day, she sat me down and showed me the basics—how to turn it on, thread it, and stitch a single line. From there, YouTube became my university. I stayed up late, night after night, soaking in everything I could. Eventually, I knew I needed more—how to actually construct garments, how to build an actual collection… so I started asking questions, seeking guidance, and slowly piecing things together.
I began designing tech packs, sourcing fabrics, cutting patterns, and stitching the samples myself (which, full transparency, was my least favorite part). Still, I showed up online, sharing what we were working on, sharing the vision with my audience. All the while, I had a full-time job and barely any money to fund what I had in mind. I hired help when I could, but not all those experiences were positive—I dealt with people who overpromised and underdelivered. That part was tough.
But even when I felt discouraged, I didn’t stop.
I dusted off my sewing machine and got back to it (even though I still don’t enjoy sewing—like at all). I’ve always known I wasn’t called to be a seamstress—to me, they’re artists, and their craft takes years to master. My heart was always in the design, the creative direction, and understanding the business of fashion and e-commerce. That’s where I thrive.
So I slowed down. I stopped rushing the process. And I became intentional about building the right team—even if it took longer.
Now, we’re creating something real. Something thoughtful. Something that speaks to you.
I’m not designing for everyone. I’m designing for the right woman—the one who gets it. The one who sees herself in our silhouettes, who feels bold and beautiful in what we make.
And believe me… you’re living rent-free in my mind.
I truly can’t wait to see you in Dayńe.
